CP&P started working with college football teams to provide branding solutions for their concession stands two years ago. They provide custom-printed food wraps to provide brand identification for the sports team and to dress up the presentation for their clients’
food products.

Prichard states, “When I sat down to think of what I could do to raise money for Haiti, the first thoughts through my head were not to sell pizzas, Girl Guides cookies or anything like that; it was about, I love to ride motorcycles and how can I turn that passion into raising money?” A friend said “…you should ride your motorcycle for as many laps as you can and find people to pledge per lap.” I thought, that is a great idea.” So Perry and his wife Melissa set out to figure out how to accomplish such a feat of strength and endurance.

Following a little research, the necessary forms were submitted to Guinness to see if this could qualify. Rather than just waiting idly while the request was being processed, Prichard proactively began a rigorous training regime to prepare himself for the ride.

Prichard received confirmation that Guinness would accept this as an official attempt to set a new World Record! “The Most Continuous Laps on a Motocross bike on a Motocross Track by an Individual in 24 Hours”. With that confirmation in hand, preparations have gone into full swing. The simple fundraiser of riding laps on his motorcycle now has the added element of an attempt to set new a world record for the most continuous laps on a motocross bike in 24 hours. The fundraiser is currently scheduled for September 11th & 12th, at Gravity Park, Chilton, WI and will run from 12 noon Saturday to 12 noon Sunday. Efforts are now underway to gather sponsors for the event and collect pledges from donors to raise funding to provide assistance to the people of Haiti to rebuild following the devastating effects of the January earthquake.

Proceeds generated by 24 Hours for Haiti, Inc. through the fundraiser will be distributed to, and utilized in, furthering the efforts of The Lazarus Project Haiti (http://www.lazarusprojecthaiti.org). The Lazarus Project Haiti is an organization with a multifaceted approach for meeting the needs of the people of Haiti. Through providing homes for disabled and orphaned children, to sharing medical care and education through the schools and clinic, they strive to meet as many practical needs as possible in this struggling country.

“Partnering with other organizations to capitalize on synergies and pool resources to find new ways to give back is a priority for our organization,” said Carson Sofro, director, HSBCAMPS, LLC. “Stretch-n-Grow of Utah allows HSBCAMPS the opportunity to work with youth outside of our regular K-12 camp programs to offer preschoolers the same opportunity to work with our staff and learn from the pros.”

The HSBCAMPS and the Stretch-n-Grow of Utah program is a four-day clinic from June 7-10, 2010 at Park City High School that will include Stretch-n-Grow curriculum for early basketball and fitness development along with HSBCAMPS station work, team games, and individual contests. The clinic will be run under the direction of the HSBCAMPS staff of collegiate and professional coaches and players, as well as trained and certified professionals from Stretch-n-Grow of Utah. The sessions will run from 9:00 to 9:50 a.m. each day. Every participant will receive a camp T-shirt and basketball, as well as various other prizes provided by sponsors. Early bird registration discounts will be offered through May 17. There will be space for up to 30 preschoolers. The Eighth Annual Tournament of Historic Baseball at Greenfield Village has become a tradition to mark the original tournament in 1867, when the Detroit area hosted 24 teams from the United States and Canada. Greenfield Village is part of The Henry Ford at 20900 Oakwood Blvd. in Dearborn, Michigan. Visitors and media will need to contact The Henry Ford about admission and parking for the event.

This year, the all-weekend tournament will include more than a dozen vintage teams from Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. The teams play each other according to a tournament schedule, and the two surviving teams play each other in the championship game on Sunday, August 15 at 2:30 p.m. in Walnut Grove #1.

Going into the tournament, the Walker Tavern Wheels have a season record of 12 wins and 3 losses. Two of the team’s wins are tournament championships, including winner of the Gatling Gun Shootout (Northville, MI) and co-winner of the Silas K. Pierce Cup (Grand Rapids, MI).

Vintage baseball is not only a competitive game but a tribute to the sport, similar to an American Civil War reenactment. This version of the sport is considered a true gentlemen’s game without swearing, sliding or spitting. The game is played without any sort of gloves.

AB 2426 provides that non-attorney surrogacy facilitators shall direct their clients to place unearned funds into either an attorney-client trust account or an independent licensed and bonded escrow account. What is the government’s answer to this crisis? Hit the consumer in the pocket book with taxes, of course. The head of the Center for Disease Control, Dr. Thomas Frieden, proposes that we tax sugary soda. This, according to him and other health experts, would generate funds to fight the obesity epidemic and would cut the consumption. It would reportedly cut obesity by 3% a year.

Cutting excessive sugar intake is a healthier choice but that alone does not target the cause of obesity. Dr. Simeons, a researcher in the 1940′s and 1950′s, concluded that obesity was a disease. Specifically, it is a disease caused by a damaged hypothalamus glad in the brain. The hypothalamus controls fat storage, metabolism, and hunger. When it becomes damaged the body will store abnormal fat instead of burning it. In turn this cause a person to crave more and more food which is not used but stored in fat reserves that are never accessed. The cycle continues until obesity occurs.

What causes the hypothalamus to become damaged? A more modern researcher, Dr. Blaylock, found startling evidence that the hypothalamus can be damaged by aspartame, the artificial sweetener used in most diet soft drinks. Aspartame is an excitotoxin that causes the nerves in the brain to become energized. Nerves need to be stimulated for normal functioning of the brain but the excitotoxins will not allow the nerves to shut down. If nerves cells remain excited they will die. The death of the nerve cells will cause hypothalamic lesions. So, taxing sugary sodas only worsens the problem because people will buy diet sodas that contain aspartame which damages the hypothalamus thereby increasing obesity.

The only answer to the obesity issue today is to heal the hypothalamus. The only way to heal the hypothalamus, according to Dr. Simeons, is with the hormone, hCG. This hormone works exclusively on the hypothalamus to heal the lesions. This allows the abnormal fat to be released so that normal weight loss can occur.
